Nate Harrington, MS, CSCS: In the past three years while in grad school, I have discovered a passion for Olympic Weightlifting. I have missed my window for becoming a decent athlete in the sport but want to help bring the sport to the forefront of the United States. Many kids/athletes get involved in sports at an early age and focus their times and efforts in developing specific skills for these sports. Many coaches forget that athleticism stems from getting faster and stronger. The classic Olympic lifts can help make any decent athlete good with the proper coaching. Hopefully this site can help kids/athletes find a good coach in their area and help them improve their athletic performance while utilizing the Olympic lifts. My ultimate goal is to help bring back Olympic glory to the United States while teaching kids and athletes how to properly train and get stronger and faster!
